SOPHIA-ROSE CENTURIONI

BNT TRAINEE

Sophia-Rose Centurioni was born in Los Angeles, California, and now resides in Plano, Texas. She received her training at Pavlova Professional Coaching in Dallas and the Kansas City Ballet School, and has worked under renowned instructors including Olga Pavlova, Lauren Fadeley Veyette, Francis Veyette, Tim Fox, and Maria Conrad. Her summer intensive experience includes Ballet West, Alberta Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, Tulsa Ballet Contemporary, and Nashville Ballet Contemporary. Sophia-Rose has performed with Ballet North Texas in Epek and Don Quixote, and danced the roles of Snow Queen and Russian Lead in Chamberlain Ballet’s The Nutcracker. She is a Youth America Grand Prix finalist her favorite variation she has performed is Act 3 Raymonda, and has received multiple scholarships for both summer and year-round training programs.
 

Celebrated for her musicality and expressive artistry, Sophia-Rose finds joy in using ballet to tell powerful stories. Outside of the studio, she is a certified Pilates instructor and is currently pursuing a degree in psychology. She is also the founder of R.I.S.E., a youth-led advocacy initiative supporting teen survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Sophia-Rose is grateful to return to Ballet North Texas for a full season and is honored to be part of so many inspiring works this year.
