Enter the shadows of 18th-century New York as Ballet North Texas premieres Sleepy Hollow, a thrilling new ballet by Carrie Ruth Trumbo. Inspired by Washington Irving’s iconic tale, 

this atmospheric work follows Ichabod Crane, Brom Bones, and Katrina Van Tassel through superstition, rivalry, and the chilling presence of the Headless Horseman.

 

Told through Katrina’s eyes, this reimagining weaves romance and suspense into a haunting ballet filled with dark beauty and psychological depth.

With sweeping movement and evocative theatrical design, Sleepy Hollow is a captivating way to open the season — and the perfect fall escape.
