Bronte Mackenzie Westmoreland began dancing at the age of 12 in Houston, TX. She trained for several years at Banbury School of Dance, where she also began her teaching career, working with children and beginning adult students. Over the years, she had the opportunity to attend several summer programs around the United States, and received training from world renowned teachers and dancers, including Gelsey Kirkland. Before coming to Ballet North Texas, Bronte Mackenzie spent two years as a Trainee at Oklahoma City Ballet, performing in several company productions, and had the chance to teach at multiple ballet schools in the Oklahoma City area. This will be her second season at Ballet North Texas.
