The Summer Intensive offered by BALLET NORTH TEXAS is scheduled to run June 22 - July 18, 2020 at BNT’s new 6500 square foot facility. BNT’s program offers students ages 10-18 ballet technique appropriate to their level of ability with additional training in other dance forms that complement the classical art form and are necessary for the ballet artist of today. Classes will be held Monday-Friday 10:00am-2:00pm. Participation in BNT's summer intensive ensures that students will acquire strength, technique, and artistry to heighten their future career opportunities. Additionally, unique to BNT’s program is the opportunity for advanced dancers to be considered as candidates for the Ballet North Texas Professional Trainee Division.

Ballet North Texas’ Summer Intensive Program is held at the company’s expansive home studios and offers unparalleled training by the distinguished Ballet North Texas Artistic Staff, staff of North Texas Conservatory, and Ballet North Texas Company Dancers. Nationally acclaimed in and out-of-state dancers and directors will join BNT’s Summer Intensive to further enhance the experience and growth of participating students.

Dress Code:

Women: Solid color leotards, pink tights and shoes.

Men: solid colored tights, white shirts.

COVID Protocol


Ballet North Texas will be implementing the following guidelines in compliance with health official recommendations for the safety regarding COVID-19. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed.

  • All classes will be limited to 10 dancers.

  • Dancers must be dropped off.

  • Lobby and dressing rooms will be closed to outside visitors.

  • Dancers should come dressed in their dance attire with hair pulled back.

  • All dancers must wash hands or sanitize before and after class.

  • Anyone entering the building should wear a mask at all times. 

  • Dancers will have designated barre and center marks in compliance with the 6-foot recommendations.

  • Dancers will be reminded to keep a 6-foot distance between each other at all times.

  • Studios will be disinfected between and after each use.

  • All handled surfaces will be disinfected between classes.
