Jenna Holcomb

BNT Apprentice

Jenna began her ballet training at the age of 4 with Boehm Ballet in Wichita Falls, Texas, under the direction of Patricia Thorton and Gary Boehm. She then joined Wichita Falls Ballet Theater, and later Wichita Falls Youth Ballet under the direction of Valentine and Mishic Liberatore. Some of Jenna’s most cherished roles during her time in Wichita Falls include the Wedding Pas de Deux from Sleeping Beauty, the soloist role in Chopiniana, and the roles of Clara and Snow Queen in The Nutcracker. Jenna has also received training with the Texas Ballet Theater School under Leticia Olivera. She attended summer courses at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under Marcia Dale Weary, as well as Kansas City Ballet School under Grace Holmes on partial scholarship. She had the privilege of competing in the Youth America Grand Prix, in which she placed in the top 24 of the Women’s Senior Classical Category with Aurora's wedding variation. Jenna joined Ballet North Texas as a trainee for the 2019-2020 season. During this time she had the privilege of performing in Night on the Trinity, The Nutcracker, and 'Trio in A Minor' by Nicolina Lawson at Ballet Frontier’s Director's Choice. She was promoted to Apprentice with Ballet North Texas for the 2020-2021 season. In addition to training and performing, Jenna has had the unique joy of sharing ballet and piano with the students of North Texas Conservatory since 2019.
