ASHLYN CROY
BNT APPRENTICE
Ashlyn is from a military family but primarily grew up in San Antonio, Texas where she received her fundamental classical training at the Ballet Conservatory of South Texas under the former direction of Marieli Guardiola Pope and Dede Barfield. While a student there, she had the opportunity to perform in Ballet San Antonio's productions of The Nutcracker, Coppélia, and Cinderella choreographed by Ben Stevenson.
She participated in the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet August course and summer intensive for several years before relocating to attend the School of Ballet Arizona's pre-professional program for two years. Throughout her training in Texas and Arizona, Ashlyn performed extensive repertoire including Swanilda in Coppélia, Princess Florine in the Sleeping Beauty, lead Czardas in Ib Anderson's Swan Lake, and a variety of other classical and original choreography.
She is excited to continue her training and perform with Ballet North Texas for her third season as an Apprentice.
