Nia Brunt

Trainee

Originally from California, Nia Brunt began her training at Long Beach Ballet under the direction of David Wilcox. During her time there, she performed in productions of Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, and the Long Beach Nutcracker. Her favorite roles include a swan in Swan Lake, a shade in La Bayadere's kingdom of the shades, and snow corps in The Nutcracker.

In 2024, Nia joined Abilene Ballet Theatre as a company member and has been featured as Arabian and the Sugarplum Fairy in Nancy Gore's The Nutcracker. In the summer of 2025, Nia had the opportunity to tour with Long Beach Ballet's Ambassadors to China program, performing Coppelia in three cities as Czardas lead. Nia has also trained at Ballet Austin and Texas Ballet Theatre in various classes and summer intensives. She is thrilled to join BNT in her first year as a trainee.
