Lisa Genovese

Lisa Genovese, originally from Denton Tx, began dancing at the age of three at Ballet Conservatory, where she trained in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, and hip hop. During her early training, she participated in the school’s pre-professional program, LakeCities Ballet Theatre.

In high school, Lisa moved to East Texas and continued her dance education at Tyler Junior College Academy of Dance. There, she performed soloist roles as a member of their pre-professional program.
After graduating, Lisa joined Sacramento Ballet Second Company, where she trained under Anthony and Jill Krutzkamp, Elise and Rhodes Elliot, and Colby Damon. During her two seasons with the company, she performed in productions including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Beer and Ballet, and Cinderella. She also had the opportunity to perform the Swan Lake Pas de Trois with the Second Company.

Following her time in Sacramento, Lisa returned to LakeCities Ballet Theatre as an adult company member. Since then, she has performed principal roles in Kelly Lannin’s Le Ballet de Dracula as well as soloist roles in The Nutcracker, Paquita, and The Little Mermaid.
