SARAH FISHER

BNT TRAINEE
Sarah is from a small town in Grand Saline, Texas where she started dancing at a little studio in Lindale, Texas at age ten. From there decided she wanted to take dancing more seriously and started dancing at Tyler Junior College Pre-professional dance program. Sarah worked her way through their levels getting into the highest level in their program and received an Associate’s degree in Dance. She was taught by ballet mistress Thereza-Bryce Cotes and Shurrell Wiebe, Carolyn Hanna as her modern teachers. While she was there she got the opportunity to perform in many Nutcrackers dancing roles such as snow corps, waltz corps, lead battle scene, and Arabian Demi-soloist. Sarah also got the opportunity to dance in their production of “The Little Mermaid” “Peter Pan” and their spring showcases. Another big opportunity she had was being able to dance “The Rite of Spring” and “Rodeo” with the East Texas Symphony Orchestra. After her time there she was offered a dance Scholarship for The University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Dance program where she attended one semester. Sarah joined BNT for their 2024/2025 season and performed in The Nutcracker, Epek: Changeling by Sam Jones, and Don Quixote. She has also gotten the opportunity to dance at summer intensives such as Texas Ballet Theater summer intensive in 2022, and Ballet North Texas summer intensive in 2024. Sarah is excited to continue her dance training and grow as a dancer with her second season as a BNT Trainee!
