Julianna Zawadski

BNT TRAINEE
Julianna Zawadzki is a dancer from a small town just outside of Houston, Texas. She began her performing journey at the American Academy of Dance under Angela Jackson and Kerri Godkins, where she danced in full‑length works such as Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Coppélia, Firebird, The Nutcracker, and more.
She went on to perform with Kingwood Dance Theatre for three years, studying and performing under Kelly Agnew, Kerry Hawk, and Trish King. During this time, she appeared in productions including Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, and annual performances of The Nutcracker.
Julianna was a founding member of NobleMotion Dance’s second company (NMD2), performing with the ensemble for four seasons under the direction of Andy and Dionne Noble and Colette Kerwick.
Julianna went on to study dance at the University of Arizona, where they performed in an excerpt of George Balanchine’s Serenade, the Gamzatti variation from La Bayadère, and a pas de deux titled Light Rain, choreographed by Gerald Arpino. While at UA, she performed and collaborated with faculty and guest artists including Christopher Compton, Lorin Mathis, and Elizabeth George.
Julianna is currently in her first season with Ballet North Texas, where she is excited to continue exploring both classical and contemporary repertoire in a professional setting.
