ISABEL BENNIGHT

Isabel Bennight is from Dallas, Texas, and has been dancing for fifteen years.
A former company member with LakeCities Ballet Theatre, Isabel has performed a wide range of classical and contemporary repertoire including The Nutcracker, George Balanchine’s Serenade, Kingdom of the Shades from La Bayadere, and Act Two of Swan Lake. Her lead and featured roles include Marzipan, Spanish, Russian, and Ballerina Doll in The Nutcracker; Marcella in Dracula; Waltz of the Hours Soloist and Friend of Swanhilda in Coppélia; and Soloist in Paquita.
Isabel received her foundational training at The Ballet Conservatory in Lewisville, Texas, where she progressed through the Advanced Ballet and Pre-Professional Supplement Programs, studying under Kelly Kilburn-Lannin, Nancy Loch, Janet Waters, and Deborah Weaver. She also trained in jazz, modern, contemporary, tap, and Pilates to broaden her range and physical intelligence. Her additional training includes Ballet West and Nashville Ballet Summer Intensives, along with private coaching from Sarah Lane, Steven Loch, Jennifer Milner, and Cody Britt Toscano.
As a Youth America Grand Prix soloist, Isabel has performed variations such as Swan Lake Pas de Trois, Dulcinea, Pas D’esclave, Aurora (The Awakening of Flora), and a contemporary solo titled Encomium. In 2024, she competed at the YAGP New York Finals with a classical ensemble choreographed by New York City Ballet’s Laine Habony, earning a Top 12 placement.
A National Merit Commended Scholar and AP Scholar with Distinction, Isabel is equally committed to excellence offstage. She is known for her leadership, artistic maturity, and collaborative spirit, with a deep intellectual curiosity that matches her talent on stage. When she’s not performing or training, Isabel enjoys playing the piano, listening to music, traveling, and drawing!
