Harry Hefner is from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He trained at The Academy of Ballet and Theater Arts and The Nutmeg Ballet in Torrington, Connecticut and attended summer programs with Tulsa Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet, and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. He was also a dancer with the Oklahoma City Ballet's second company under Ryan Nye for their 2024/25 season where he performed in Swan Lake. 

 

Harry attended the University of Oklahoma as a ballet performance major. Performance highlights with the University of Oklahoma school of dance include Jirí Kyllián’s Whereabouts Unknown, William Forsythe’s Work Within Work, Yury Yanowsky’s Train of Thought, and Penny Saunders’ Deux Amours. In 2024 he toured with OU to perform at Festival Ballet San Jose in Costa Rica, and performed Bouquet for Yvonne at the 2024 Five Moons Dance Festival in Norman, Oklahoma.

This is Harry’s first season with Ballet North Texas and is very exited to perform with and be a part of the company.
