Aaryanna Yang grew up in San Antonio, Texas where she began her ballet training with Ballet San Antonio Academy. She was a member of San Antonio Youth Ballet, competing at Youth American Grand Prix, Elite Dance Tournament, and other competitions where she has placed within Top 10. At the age of 15, she began preforming with Montgomery Ballet as a trainee under the direction of Joseph and Laura Villalobos.

Upon returning to San Antonio, Aaryanna preformed with Sea World San Antonio in a world premier of “Electric Ocean”. She then joined Ballet San Antonio as an apprentice in 2019 and was promoted to corps de ballet in 2021. Later that year, she graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with her Bachelor degree in Creative Writing and English. Aaryanna joined Ballet North Texas in 2024. 

 

Some of her favorite repertoire includes Brian Enos’s Alice in Wonderland, Edward Liang’s Romeo and Juliet, guest performances with Opera San Antonio in Hansel and Gretel, and Nicolina Lawson’s Arabian from The Nutcracker.
