BNT APPRENTICE

From Plaquemine Louisiana, Patrick began his Ballet training at the age of 16 with Dancer’s Workshop and Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre’s Youth Ballet under the direction of Susan Perlis, Rebecca Acosta, Jonna Cox, and Christine Perkins. He then went onto join Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre under the direction of Molly Buchmann and Sharon Mathews. During his time with the company he performed roles such as Mouse King and Head Chef in The Nutcracker; A Tale from the Bayou, Pied Piper in Rapunzel. He has also performed roles in the company’s productions of Cinderella, and Coppelia. He has attended summer courses at Dance Theatre of Harlem. After graduating from Baton Rouge Magnet High school, Patrick continued his education at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of General Studies and a Minor of Dance. During his time at the University, Patrick studied under Marie Broussard and Kristi Carr. While a student, Patrick danced as the Nutcracker Prince for F.I.R.E. Expressions Dance Company’s, The Creole Nutcracker under the direction of Leigha Porter and Jazmyn Smith. Patrick has worked with notable choreographers such as Taylor Mitchell, Clare Cook, Eric Rivera, and Whitney Pace.
